Instagram Redesign Design Research + UI/UX
For this design research project, my team and I wanted to see how social media is and can be used for social change. We ultimately wanted to research to see how social media platforms could be redesigned to better serve the promotion of social change movements. Our scope included all digital movements, all social platforms and all ages but we decided to focus in on social change movements, instagram, and college students. We performed six methods of research before analyzing our data and developing prototype concepts for an Instagram redesign. Concept development & research was done in collaboration Amber Lanese, Donna Zheng & Ethan Newburger.
